Are you looking for ways to become more involved in your local community? In partnership with Duke Divinity School, we hosted a webinar titled “The Key to Community Engagement” on Sept. 28.
We learned from the Rev. Dr. Regina Henderson Moore and the Rev. Dr. Sydney Williams, Jr. how they have helped their own ministries engage with their communities as well as research they have done on the topic.
Dr. Williams has more than 30 years of experience in corporate and community development, which enables him to contribute a diverse set of experiences and expertise to Valley’s Board of Directors. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business and completed his undergraduate studies in finance at Howard University.
Dr. Moore has traveled to more than 20 countries preaching, teaching and serving in the mission field. She is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., where she earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management. She also earned her master’s degree and doctorate from Duke Divinity School.
